WSSA forms part of the holding group Mea Aqua, a Luxembourg based company, that supplies water services in Africa and the Middle East. WSSA was established in 1986 as Aqua Gold to provide bulk water solutions in KwaZulu-Natal. WSSA’s head office is based in Woodmead, Johannesburg with regional offices in East London and Empangeni. The company also has operational offices across the country for easy interaction with the client.
WSSA employs a staff complement of 1,200 people across its operational sites to manage over 80 water systems and 60 wastewater systems on behalf of municipalities, parastatals and industries.
